Message from His Excellency Ato Sani Hassen, President of Central Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association

The Council of Central Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association has been established on March 2024 AD (Megabit 2016 EC.) under Proclamation No. 341/2003 of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The establishment of the Council has been embedded on the following objectives. 

To provide different services to the business community, To safeguard the overall rights and benefits of their members, To promote and publicize products and services of the region, To enhance trade and investment of the region and To serve as a bridge between the business community and the Government;

The Council of Central Ethiopia Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Association, The Voice of the Business Community of the region, should be able to realize these objectives if each of the business community members actively joins the association and contribute to build solid capacity. A congealed capacity will empower us to enhance investment in the region. If our capability develops, we will be able to transform our region to wards persuasive trade hub. With developed competency, we will be able to excel across every market sectors. And as our fitness ripens, we will be dexterous to attract the eyes of the global business institutions. At large, generating vigorous capacity qualifies our association to be able to ingress investment to our region as well as to pass on to the world market.

To come across with this end, the council and the business community of our region are required to be dedicated and fastened with a resilient bond. Altogether, if we realize this, we will be able to attain our vision, stated as "The Central Ethiopia Region Government business community members and institutions foreseen to be transformed to reasonable affluence and make progressive impact to national economic development by the year 2035."
